Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to support the People Operations team in daily activities, projects, and initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in building a career in Human Resources, with the ability to multitask, learn quickly, and contribute to daily HR operations. This internship offers hands-on exposure to various HR functions including employee engagement, learning and development, performance management, policy administration, and HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities, Deliverables / Outcomes

  • Onboarding & Induction Support - Ensure smooth joining formalities and a positive onboarding experience for new employees through timely coordination, document collection, and induction session support.
  • Performance Management Support (PMS) - Track goal setting, quarterly assessments, and review completions; maintain PMS data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Learning & Development (L&D) - Coordinate internal/external training, maintain attendance records, assist in tracking the training initiative, and prepare L&D summary reports.
  • Employee Engagement & Communication - Support planning and execution of monthly engagement initiatives and surveys; contribute creative ideas and ensure participation across teams.
  • HR Operations & Compliance - Maintain employee data and records, support policy implementation, ensure compliance documentation, and assist in HR reporting activities.

Key Skills

  • Strong academic background in HR, Business Administration, or related fields (BBA, MBA HR, or equivalent).
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, learning & development, and employee engagement.
  • Familiarity with HR documentation and compliance, including maintenance of employee records, policy implementation, and statutory documentation.
  • Good Excel and data management skills, including the ability to maintain HR records, track PMS data, and prepare simple HR reports.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify discrepancies in records, maintain accuracy, and support process improvements.
