JOB DESCRIPTION

5+ years of experience in global mobility, immigration, HR. Ideal backgrounds include US immigration (H-1B, L-1), business travel visa programs (B-1/B-2, Schengen, business visas for APAC/EMEA), India domestic relocation and intern programs; especially in a high growth tech company. Paralegal certification is a plus. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively and empathetically with employees, managers, HR partners, and senior leaders, translating complex immigration concepts into clear, simple guidance. • Written and spoken English language proficiency. • Sound judgment in handling sensitive, confidential, and legally complex situations, with a consistent focus on employee privacy and risk mitigation. • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset: able to identify issues early, assess risk, and deliver timely solutions under competing priorities. • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a geographically dispersed team across time zones. • Learning mindset, staying current on regulatory changes, industry trends, and mobility technology to continuously improve your skills and the employee experience. • Familiarity with immigration case management systems and HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday). Proficiency in Excel and basic reporting tools. • Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, Business, International Relations, or a related field. How You Will Lead Business Travel Immigration • Serve as the subject matter expert for travel immigration program. Own case management end-to-end: assess travel requests for B-1/B-2 visa eligibility, advise on appropriate visa categories and permissible activities, and support employees traveling to Schengen-area countries, APAC markets (Singapore, Australia), and other jurisdictions with specific business visa requirements. • Conduct business travel risk assessments, flagging work authorization violations, unauthorized work risks, and corporate immigration exposure; partner with Program Managers and external counsel to resolve issues promptly. • Develop and maintain B-1/B-2 program resources, including process guides, slide decks, and templates, to help employees understand requirements and navigate the process independently; keep all documentation current as regulations evolve. • Conduct training sessions and briefings to build business travel compliance awareness across the organization, equipping managers and employees to make informed decisions before travel. • Monitor regulatory changes across key immigration jurisdictions and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders; maintain intranet resources, FAQs, and program communications to keep employees and managers informed.
