Purpose:
At Intellismith, we are building strong people practices with compliance, efficiency, and employee experience at the core. We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist (6–8 years) who can drive HR operations, manage client relationships, and ensure seamless employee lifecycle management across locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, induction, employee lifecycle management, and exit formalities.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance productivity, retention, and workplace culture.
- Act as a single point of contact for employees, resolving HR queries, grievances, and ensuring high satisfaction.
- Handle client & stakeholder management, ensuring smooth HR service delivery and coordination with external client teams.
- Travel to client locations as required to support HR operations and strengthen relationships.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies (Shops & Establishments Act, CLRA, Gratuity, etc.).
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes in a structured manner.
- Support performance management processes including goal setting, reviews, and feedback cycles.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, MIS reports, and audit readiness.
Must-have Skills:
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in HR Generalist / HR Operations role.
- Strong exposure to HR operations, compliance, and employee lifecycle management.
- Proven experience in client handling & stakeholder management.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as per business requirements.
- Strong understanding of labour laws and HR compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel & HRMS tools (Zimyo, PeopleStrong, SAP, or similar).
- High ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Good-to-Have:
- Experience in contract staffing / outsourcing payroll environments.
- Exposure to HR audits and compliance reporting.
- Experience in process improvement or HR automation initiatives.
- Ability to interpret and implement labour law amendments.
