About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Finance & Management professional to manage our financial operations, compliance, and project management. You will be responsible for overseeing payroll, accounting, tax compliance, and project-level financial tracking while supporting HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Accounting
- Recording and review of sales transactions and revenue documentation
- Recording and review of bill copies and expense documentation
- Categorization and reconciliation of bank transactions
- Processing and managing vendor invoices
- Preparation of financial reports and statements
- Maintenance of financial records and documentation
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Monthly preparation and filing of GSTR1 and GSTR3B
- Monthly remittance and quarterly filing of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)
- Coordination with tax consultants and regulatory bodies
- Ensuring compliance with GST and income tax regulations
- Maintaining statutory compliance documentation
Payroll & HR Finance
- Payroll processing and management
- Employee expense reimbursement processing
- HR-related financial documentation and records
- Support with employee benefits and statutory compliance
Project Finance & Management
- Project budget planning and allocation for each initiative
- Budget approval coordination with stakeholders
- Project-level expense tracking and monitoring
- Variance analysis between budgeted and actual project costs
- Quarterly/monthly project financial reporting
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Employee performance tracking and documentation
- Project milestone tracking and reporting
- Generation of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and financial reports
- Month-end and quarter-end closing and reconciliation
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, HR finance, or similar role
- Strong proficiency in accounting principles and financial management
- Experience with payroll processing and HR finance operations
- Knowledge of GST compliance and tax regulations in India
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel) and accounting software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Based in Chennai or willing to relocate
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in accounting, finance, or business administration
- Experience with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, Odoo or similar)
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
- Experience in GST and TDS compliance
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation and financial audits
- Experience with budget planning and cost management
- Exposure to HR information systems (HRIS)
- Understanding of financial reporting and P&L statements
