HR Executive - People & Culture Operations Chennai | Full-time | On-site (5 days/week)
Role OverviewAs our Chennai team grows, we are looking for an HR Executive who can anchor people operations on the ground.
Leadership may not be physically present in the office every day. This role requires someone who can:
- Maintain structure and accountability
- Ensure policies are followed
- Support team morale and culture
- Escalate concerns proactively
- Act as a stable, professional presence in the office
This is not a passive HR role.
You will be responsible for ensuring that day-to-day discipline and team alignment remain strong.
Key Responsibilities1. On-Ground HR Presence- Be physically present in the Chennai office (5 days/week)
- Ensure smooth day-to-day team functioning
- Observe patterns related to team dynamics, productivity, and morale
- Flag concerns early to leadership
- Maintain professionalism and neutrality at all times
2. Culture & Conduct- Reinforce company policies and expectations
- Ensure structured communication and accountability
- Address minor conflicts early before they escalate
- Support a performance-driven but respectful work environment
3. Recruitment & Hiring- Manage end-to-end hiring processes
- Coordinate assignments, interviews, and evaluations
- Maintain structured hiring documentation
- Ensure professional candidate communication
4. Performance & Documentation- Support structured performance reviews
- Document delivery issues, warnings, and improvement plans
- Ensure follow-ups are not missed
- Maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters
5. Policy & Process Ownership- Implement and monitor leave policies, handover processes, and documentation systems
- Standardise internal processes
- Ensure team members follow established workflows
What We're Looking For- 2-5 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to handle difficult conversations calmly
