HR Executive (Human Resources Executive) On-site, India

About The Opportunity

A fast-moving organisation operating in the information technology and digital solutions sector, focused on delivering high-quality products and services to national and international customers. We are building a compact, performance-driven HR function to scale hiring, payroll, compliance and employee experience across our India operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: write job ads, screen CVs, coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks and issue offer letters for on-site hires.
  • Administer onboarding and exit processes: prepare joining kits, conduct inductions, complete documentation and manage clearance & relieving formalities.
  • Execute monthly payroll processing and statutory submissions: prepare salary inputs, reconcile payslips and liaise with finance and vendors for PF/ESI/TDS compliance.
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records: update master data, run reports, manage attendance, leave records and support HR dashboards for leadership.
  • Drive employee relations and engagement initiatives: respond to employee queries, investigate workplace issues and organise on-site engagement activities.
  • Support performance management and learning logistics: coordinate appraisals, training schedules and maintain related documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Proven experience in an HR generalist role handling recruitment, onboarding and payroll.
  • Working knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliances (PF, ESI, TDS).
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and strong proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and reconciliations.
  • Practical exposure to payroll processing and attendance/leave administration.
  • Comfortable working on-site with strong organisational and time-management capabilities.

Preferred

  • Certification in HR (SHRM/PHR/Certified HR Professional).
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems or recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, etc.).
  • Prior experience in a technology or product-led organisation.
