Job Summary :
The HR Executive / HR Manager – Blue Collar Recruitment will be responsible for end-to-end hiring, onboarding, attendance coordination, and workforce management of factory workers and shop floor manpower. The role involves sourcing skilled and semi-skilled workers, coordinating with contractors and manpower agencies, ensuring timely staffing, maintaining labor compliance, and supporting smooth factory operations.
This role is critical in maintaining adequate manpower availability for production targets, especially in manufacturing environments such as modular furniture, woodworking, panel processing, assembly, CNC operations, edge banding, packaging, loading, and dispatch.
Key Responsibilities :
Recruitment & Staffing.
Handle end-to-end recruitment of blue collar workers including:
Machine Operators.
Helpers.
Carpenters.
CNC Operators.
Edge Banding Operators.
Packers.
Loading & Dispatch Staff.
Supervisors.
Electricians.
Maintenance Technicians.
Source manpower through:.
Contractors.
Local recruitment drives.
Industrial areas.
Job portals.
Employee referrals.
Labour consultants.
Conduct initial screening and trade skill verification.
Ensure timely manpower availability as per production requirements.
Maintain worker database and recruitment tracker.
Contractor & Vendor Management :
Coordinate with labour contractors and manpower agencies.
Monitor contractor manpower attendance and deployment.
Verify worker documents and contractor compliance.
Ensure adequate manpower during peak production periods.
Joining & Onboarding :
Complete joining formalities for workers.
Collect and maintain required documents:
Aadhaar.
PAN.
Bank details.
Address proof.
Educational/trade certificates.
Issue ID cards and maintain employee records.
Conduct factory induction and safety orientation.
Attendance & Workforce Coordination :
Coordinate daily attendance and shift deployment.
Track absenteeism, overtime, and manpower shortages.
Coordinate with production supervisors for manpower planning.
Assist in shift scheduling and worker allocation.
Employee Relations :
Address worker grievances and disciplinary matters.
Maintain healthy industrial relations.
Support employee engagement and retention activities.
Ensure smooth communication between management and workers.
Compliance & Documentation :
Ensure compliance with labour laws and factory regulations.
Maintain statutory records related to:
ESI.
PF.
Bonus.
Wages.
Leave records.
Support audits and inspections related to labour compliance.
Maintain HR MIS reports and manpower reports.
Training & Development :
Coordinate skill training and safety training programs.
Assist in onboarding training for new workers.
Support productivity improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Competencies :
Strong blue collar hiring experience.
Knowledge of factory operations and workforce planning.
Good understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance.
Strong coordination and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under production pressure.
Good communication in local languages and Hindi/English.
MS Excel and HR documentation knowledge.

Qualification :
MBA / MSW / PGDM in HR preferred.
Graduate with relevant factory HR experience can also apply.
Experience :
HR Executive: 2–5 Years.
HR Manager: 5–10 Years.
Experience in factory blue collar recruitment is mandatory.
