Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and forward‑thinking HR Data Analyst to develop and deliver robust, actionable HR insights that drive organizational value. This role will design, build, and manage an HR data warehouse, while developing data models, dashboards, and predictive analytics that enable smarter decision‑making and enhance HR processes. The ideal candidate will make workforce insights easily accessible, interpret complex datasets, and consistently present key findings with clear follow‑through.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Insights
- Develop and execute a comprehensive HR data and analytics strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
- Proactively identify opportunities where HR data can improve organizational performance and enhance the employee experience.
- Create and maintain a roadmap for HR data and analytics capabilities that supports the long‑term HR vision.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Build scalable, accessible dashboards that deliver real‑time HR insights to stakeholders.
- Design and maintain data structures within HR data warehouses to support reporting needs.
- Conduct in‑depth analyses of workforce trends, employee performance, engagement, and other critical HR metrics.
- Deliver strategic reports and presentations that highlight meaningful data‑driven insights to guide HR initiatives.
- Troubleshoot data issues and respond to analytics‑related support requests.
Collaboration & Communication
- Serve as a data champion within HR, fostering a culture of evidence‑based decision‑making.
- Partner closely with HR leaders and cross‑functional teams to understand data needs and support integrated solutions.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.
Technology & Automation
- Identify and implement HR technologies that enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with HR teams to ensure high standards of data integrity, security, and system integration.
- Explore opportunities to use automation to streamline HR processes and improve data utilization.
Required skills and qualifications
Technical Skills
- Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and HRIS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling. (Tableau & R)
- Experience with Data Warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).
- Experience with SuccessFactors Reporting is preferred.
- Familiarity with data manipulation languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is an advantage.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to convey data-driven insights to a diverse audience.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to driving change.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in data science, Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics and/or data warehouses, preferably within HR or a related field, with a track record of using data to drive strategic decisions
- Proven experience as an HR data analyst, Data Warehouse administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
- Experience using HR systems and databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong presentation and reporting skills.
