Role Overview :
We're looking to hire a dedicated HR leader(HRBP) — someone who can bring structure to our people function while keeping the energy and agility of a fast-growing startup. You'll own everything from hiring strategy to culture, and work directly with the founding team to build Capital Now's people foundation from the ground up.
What You'll Own :
- Design and implement HR processes, policies, and frameworks that scale with the company
- Partner with leadership on org design, workforce planning, and headcount strategy
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment — set standards, improve quality of hiring, and manage the TA function
- Manage and mentor the existing HR team and build your own team as we scale
- Own employee lifecycle — onboarding, performance management, engagement, and exits
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements
- Drive culture initiatives, retention programs, and L&D efforts
- Manage and mentor the existing HR team (currently 2 members)
- Manage HRIS systems and HR metrics/dashboards
What We're Looking For
- 4–6 years of HR experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment
- Has worn multiple hats — comfortable across TA, HR ops, and people strategy
- Strong understanding of Indian labour laws and compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on, bias for action — can build from scratch without waiting for a playbook
- Experience with HRIS tools (Keka, Darwinbox, Zoho People, or similar) is a plus
