Purpose of the role

The purpose of an HR Business Associate role is to provide support to the Human Resources department, often working closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to deliver HR services and initiatives. This role typically involves a blend of administrative, analytical, and support functions aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and contributing to the overall HR strategy. HR Business Associate helps to bridge the gap between strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day operational needs, ensuring that employees are supported and HR processes are efficient and effective.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - HRBA FOR DIGITAL AND TECHNOLOGY FUNCTION

  • Supporting HR Operations:Assisting with various HR functions such as recruitment, campus onboarding, performance management, and exit process management.
  • Data Management and Analysis:Maintaining HR records, generating reports, and analysing HR data to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Employee Support:Responding to employee queries, pro viding guidance on HR policies and procedures, and helping to resolve basic HR-related issues.
  • Project Assistance:Contributing to HR projects and initiatives, which might include developing new HR programs, improving existing processes, or implementing new initiatives.
  • Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensuring that HR practices are compliant with relevant company policies and procedures
  • Collaboration:Working collaboratively with HRBPs, other HR specialists (e.g., compensation, benefits), HR Shared services and business leaders to align HR efforts with business objectives

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education - Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory).
  • At least 2-4 years of relevant experience, with some experience in HR Business Partnering role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft based applications like excel and powerpoint and a willingness to learn other systems as needed
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills - ability to prepare and analyze reports, translate data into recommendations and take appropriate action to achieve desired business results.
  • Ability to lead and manage projects independently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in HR or related field
