Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Associate Manager / HR Manager to join our

Singapore-based team. This role will take ownership of multi-country in-house HR

operations, with a primary focus on APAC markets including Singapore, Malaysia,

Indonesia, and the Philippines, while also supporting other regions as needed.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in end-to-end HR operations, a

strong grasp of local labor regulations, and the ability to manage HR processes

across multiple countries in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position is both

strategic and operational, requiring close collaboration with business stakeholders,

regional HR teams, and cross-functional partners to deliver excellence in HR

operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Regional HR Operations Management – Lead day-to-day HR operations

across multiple APAC countries, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll

coordination, benefits administration, and employee data management.

2. Compliance & Governance – Ensure all HR activities comply with local

employment laws, statutory requirements, and company policies in each

operating country.

3. Payroll Coordination – Partner with internal finance teams and external

vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution across regions.

4. Process Optimization – Continuously review and enhance HR operational

workflows, leveraging automation and digital tools to improve efficiency and

employee experience.

5. HR Systems & Reporting – Maintain data integrity in HR systems

(HRIS/HRMS) and generate accurate reports to support business decision-making

6. Stakeholder Collaboration – Partner with regional business leaders, Finance,

and HRBPs to ensure consistent HR service delivery and resolve operational

issues.

7. Employee Lifecycle Management – Manage employment contracts,

probation reviews, renewals, transfers, and exits across different jurisdictions.

8. Vendor Management – Oversee third-party service providers (e.g., payroll,

benefits, insurance) to ensure compliance and service quality.

9. Regional Projects – Participate in or lead HR transformation, digitalization,

and regional integration initiatives to support business growth.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6–10 years of progressive HR experience, with proven multicountry HR operations exposure in APAC markets (e.g., Singapore,
  • Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines).
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR processes including
  • onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, and data management.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of employment laws and
  • statutory requirements in multiple APAC countries.
  • Systems: Proficiency in HRIS / HRMS platforms; experience in digital HR
  • transformation is an advantage.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and
  • problem-solving skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix
  • organization.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
  • or related discipline.
  • Language: Fluency in English; additional APAC languages are a plus.
