The HR Assistant will ensure driving employee engagements to support company Transformation journey and Human capital readiness. Set up HR systems and processes, and drive initiatives to transform the plant aligned with company transformation agenda.
He /she will be responsible for proactive engagement with union, ensuring statutory compliance, and fostering a harmonious work environment that supports productivity and operational excellence.
Ideal candidates must demonstrate high initiative, ownership, and integrity and possess a strong entrepreneurial drive and vision.
Key Responsibilities
Manpower /Talent Management:
- Oversee all recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for ITI -Operators /Engineers
- Ensure manpower availability for production as per operation plans.
- Track people productivity matrices and report out monthly MIS.
- Provision of resources as required for the office.
- Track and Monitor absenteeism and Overtime matrices on monthly basis.
Employee and Labour Relations:
- Manage employee relations and resolve workplace conflicts and grievances.
- Lead and manage all aspects of industrial relations at the plant level.
- Manage union negotiations, long-term settlements, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Maintain strong liaison with labour departments, government authorities, and local bodies.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws: Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, CLRA, etc.
- Manage disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and grievance redressal mechanisms.
- Drive employee engagement, welfare, and communication initiatives.
Payroll, Compliance and Administration:
- Introduce HR systems, processes, SOPs, and KPIs
- Timely and accurate Monthly Payroll administration, track wage cost and ensure it control in accordance with business plan.
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
- Employee Life cycle from Hire to retire. Timely Full and final settlement for exiting employee. New employees joining formalities.
Training and Development:
- New employee onboarding and skill building to ensure their work readiness.
- Develop and implement training calendar and its compliances for skill building.
- Maintain skill matrix and drive action as per training plan for skill upgradations.
- Support for Internal and external audits (AITF)
Required Experience
- Should have 12 15 years of HR experience in Manufacturing Industry.
- Full time Post Graduation in HR (MSW, MLW, MLS, MA-Industrial psychology, MBA-HR)
- Experience of working in Unionized setup is desired.
- Local Government liaisons
