Role Description The HR and Community Manager at Coliwo is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for managing the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations, while ensuring compliance with HR policies and local regulations. The HR and Community Manager will design and implement community-building initiatives, organize events and activities for residents, and act as a central contact for resolving community concerns and improving resident satisfaction. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining HR records, coordinating training programs, supporting workplace culture, and collaborating with operations to enhance both staff and resident experience. The role requires regular interaction with residents and team members to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations, preferably in hospitality, real estate, or community-focused environments.
- Skills in community management, event planning, and resident engagement, with the ability to build rapport and foster a positive, inclusive culture.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including maintaining HR documentation, using HR or CRM software, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Understanding of basic HR compliance and workplace policies; familiarity with labor regulations applicable to the Pune Division is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a resident-focused setting, with flexibility to support evening or weekend community events when needed.
- Previous experience in coliving, coworking, hospitality, or residential community management is a plus.
