Overview


CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. For this critical role, we are looking for the candidate to be based in Mumbai. You may choose to work from home in Mumbai however, you will be required to travel to our Andheri East office once a week for business requirements, meetings, or company/team events, or on short notice as needed.

We're looking for a passionate HR analyst with advanced excel skills and excellent comprehension to join us!
As an HR analyst, you will be the custodian of HR data. You will be responsible for gathering, cleaning, collating and converting data into various accurate reports and dashboards for leaders and stakeholders within the organization. You will play a pivotal role as the reports and dashboards you create will enable leaders to make informed & data-driven decisions that will shape the future of Human Resources at CACTUS! You will report to the Director, HR Operations & Administration.


Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the problem statement or objective.
  • Gather relevant data from various sources, databases, internal systems and combine data from multiple sources to a cohesive dataset using MS Excel.
  • Clean the data by removing any duplicates, correcting errors, handling missing values to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ask the right questions, comprehend and use advanced excel techniques such as pivots, validation automation, formula, macros among others to analyze & interpret the data.
  • Create various reports and dashboards such as headcount & attrition report, people cost reports, hiring & ad-hoc data reports etc.
  • Work closely with the Director, HR Operations & Administration to learn to draw meaningful conclusions from the analysis and summarize key insights & recommendations.

Qualifications and Prerequisites


  • Bachelors in any discipline bachelor's in engineering or mathematics, statistics is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using advanced excel techniques.
  • Passionate about data with an affinity for numbers and metrics.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience with creating reports from scratch and analyzing HR related data.
  • Excellent comprehension skills & ability to ask the right questions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills & has a learning mindset.
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative

For this role, you will have to work on an assessment followed by a virtual interview and lastly an in-person interview at our Andheri East office.
