About the Role
Gita Mediquip Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced HR & Talent Acquisition Manager with a strong background in the manufacturing industry.
We are in a growth phase and aim to expand our team from 100 employees to 200 employees. The selected candidate will play a key role in building a strong recruitment engine for both blue-collar and white-collar hiring across production, operations, sales, service, quality, design, purchase, and support functions.
This role is ideal for someone who has a strong recruitment network, understands factory manpower requirements, and can build scalable hiring systems for a growing manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar and white-collar positions.
- Hire welders, fitters, helpers, machine operators, fabricators, assembly workers, production supervisors, quality engineers, service engineers, sales executives, purchase executives, store staff, design engineers, and office staff.
- Build strong recruitment channels through ITIs, diploma colleges, labour contractors, placement consultants, employee referrals, job portals, LinkedIn, and local industrial networks.
- Prepare department-wise manpower planning in line with business growth.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand hiring requirements.
- Create and maintain a strong candidate database and recruitment pipeline.
- Manage screening, interviews, salary negotiation, offer release, and joining formalities.
- Track recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire, joining ratio, source effectiveness, and 90-day retention.
- Support onboarding, employee engagement, attendance discipline, and retention initiatives.
- Develop basic HR systems, policies, joining process, induction process, and employee records.
- Support management in building a scalable team structure for future growth.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5–10 years of HR / recruitment experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, machinery, auto components, medical devices, furniture, or allied industries.
- Strong hands-on experience in blue-collar hiring is a must.
- Ability to hire both factory staff and professional/managerial staff.
- Strong local recruitment network in Ahmedabad/Gujarat industrial areas.
- Experience working with ITIs, diploma colleges, consultants, contractors, and worker referral networks.
- Good communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work closely with management and department heads.
- Practical understanding of factory culture, manpower planning, and employee retention.
Qualification
MBA HR / MHRM / MSW / Graduate with strong relevant HR experience.
Manufacturing recruitment experience will be given higher priority than qualification alone.
