Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with exposure to the IT industry to manage end-to-end HR operations. The role involves handling technical hiring support, employee lifecycle management, HR operations, payroll coordination, compliance, and employee engagement in a fast-paced IT environment.

The Core Responsibilities For The Job Include The Following

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition (IT Focus):

  • Support end-to-end recruitment for IT roles such as developers, QA, DevOps, data, cloud, and BI.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers on requirements, interview scheduling, and feedback.
  • Manage offer rollouts, negotiations, and joining follow-ups.
  • Maintain hiring trackers, bench reports, and recruitment metrics.

Onboarding And Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage onboarding, induction, and documentation for new hires.
  • Handle employee lifecycle processes: confirmation, role changes, exits, and F& F.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between HR, IT, Admin, and Finance teams.

HR Operations And HRMS

  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRMS.
  • Manage attendance, leave, shifts, and work-from-home policies.
  • Prepare HR reports related to headcount, attrition, and utilization.

Payroll And Statutory Compliance

  • Coordinate monthly payroll with finance/payroll vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws: PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Shops and Establishment.
  • Support audits and statutory documentation.

Employee Relations And Engagement

  • Act as a single point of contact for employee HR queries.
  • Support performance appraisal and feedback cycles.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary matters, and policy adherence.
  • Drive employee engagement activities, town halls, and internal communication.

Policies, Culture, And Learning

  • Implement HR policies aligned with IT industry best practices.
  • Support training, certifications, and skill development initiatives.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven work culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as an HR generalist in an IT/tech organization.
  • Strong understanding of IT hiring processes and HR operations.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS tools, and documentation.

Preferred (Good To Have)

  • Experience working in IT services, startups, or product companies.
  • Exposure to bench management or resource utilization tracking.
  • Familiarity with Agile/project-based IT environments.
