Job Description

Key Technical Skills-

  • Primary Focus:Developing and running Bioinformatic workflows/pipelines leveraging and managing WDL engines like miniWDL, Slurm and R on AWS cloud utilizing technologies like AWS Parallel Cluster, R Workbench, Batch, ECS, Kubernetes etc.
  • Technical Skills :AWS Services: EC2, RDS, S3, RedShift, FSX, EFS, IAM, Batch, Cloud Formation etc.
  • Python & bash scripting
  • Experience with Slurm (Configuring Slurm partitions, converting standalone jobs to Slurm etc.)
  • Experience with R Workbench & Package manager Install & configure R Workbench with scalable backend such as Slurm, Kubernetes etc.
  • Experience with Dockers
