Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Housekeeping Trainer based in Pune. The Housekeeping Trainer will design and deliver training programs on housekeeping standards, cleaning procedures, chemical usage, safety practices, and equipment handling for housekeeping staff. The role includes conducting regular class-room and on-the-floor training sessions, demonstrations, and refresher courses to ensure consistent service quality. The trainer will assess skill gaps, evaluate performance through checklists and audits, and provide feedback and coaching to team members. Additional responsibilities include maintaining training records, updating training materials as standards and technologies evolve, and coordinating with operations and HR teams to support onboarding and continuous development.

Qualifications

  • At least 2+Years of experience in Housekeeping in Hotel / Facility Management Industry .
  • Strong housekeeping operations knowledge, including cleaning techniques, use of housekeeping equipment, and hygiene and safety standards.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs, including organizing sessions, preparing training materials, and conducting practical demonstrations.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities, with strong interpersonal skills to coach, mentor, and motivate diverse teams.
  • Ability to conduct quality checks, audits, and performance evaluations, and to provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Good organizational and documentation skills for maintaining training schedules, attendance, and assessment records.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, facility management, or housekeeping supervision or training is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office or similar tools for preparing reports, training content, and tracking metrics.
  • Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping, or a related field is an advantage; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to work on-site in Jamnagar, manage shifting priorities, and uphold company standards of professionalism and integrity.
