Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Hygiene Management:

  • Ensure smooth daily housekeeping operations across assigned properties.
  • Implement and monitor hygiene and cleanliness standards according to company guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain quality benchmarks.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Team Management & Training:

  • Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping staff, including supervisors and attendants.
  • Conduct regular training on cleaning procedures, chemical usage, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor staff performance, resolve grievances, and implement productivity improvement plans.

Inventory & Cost Control:

  • Manage housekeeping inventory, including cleaning supplies, linen, and consumables.
  • Ensure cost-effective usage of materials while maintaining service quality.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement and service contracts.

Resident Experience & Issue Resolution:

  • Ensure quick response and resolution of housekeeping-related complaints.
  • Maintain clear communication with Front Desk and Operations teams for smooth service delivery.
  • Implement periodic deep-cleaning schedules and preventive maintenance checks.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Maintain records of housekeeping audits, staff attendance, and inventory usage.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and escalate deviations.
  • Collaborate with the Facility Management team to address any escalated hygiene concerns.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 25 years of experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in healthcare, hospital, or hospitality industries.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of hospital hygiene and infection control practices preferred.
