Role Description The Housekeeping GSA (Guest Service Associate) is a full-time, on-site role based in Haridwar. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and bathroom cleaning. The Housekeeping GSA will replenish room supplies, change linens, manage laundry items, and ensure that all housekeeping requests are handled promptly. The position also includes reporting maintenance issues, following safety and sanitation protocols, and coordinating with the front office and other departments to support a smooth guest experience. The role requires consistent adherence to company standards and a courteous, professional approach when interacting with guests.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping and cleaning skills, including basic knowledge of cleaning agents, equipment handling, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to manage room preparation and turnaround, including bed-making, linen handling, and restocking amenities.
• Customer service skills to interact politely with guests, respond to requests, and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Basic communication skills in English or local languages to understand instructions and coordinate with team members.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to follow checklists and maintain consistent quality standards.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed in a hospitality environment.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
