Job Title: Housekeeping Executive

Job Summary
The Housekeeping Executive is responsible for supervising daily housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across guest rooms and public areas at The Orchid Hotel, Vile Parle. The role involves team supervision, quality checks, coordination with other departments, and adherence to hotel SOPs and sustainability practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping associates during assigned shifts.
- Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet hotel cleanliness and quality standards.
- Conduct regular room inspections and take corrective actions when required.
- Allocate daily duties, prepare duty rosters, and monitor attendance.
- Handle guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for room status and repairs.
- Train housekeeping staff on SOPs, hygiene standards, and eco-friendly practices.
- Monitor usage of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to control costs.
- Maintain records related to housekeeping operations and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or certification in Hotel Management / Housekeeping preferred
- 24 years of experience in hotel housekeeping, including supervisory exposure
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, chemicals, and equipment
- Good leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
