Job Description

  • Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
  • Fill housekeeping cart with supplies and transport it to assigned guest rooms.
  • Enter guest rooms following safety procedures and check for occupancy before entry.
  • Replace guest amenities and supplies, including towels and linens.
  • Make beds, clean bathrooms, and restock toiletries.
  • Remove trash, dirty linens, and any room service items.
  • Check the condition and functionality of in-room appliances.
  • Straighten items, dust surfaces, polish furnishings, and remove wall marks.
  • Vacuum carpets and perform routine floor care tasks in guest rooms and hallways.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards as observed.
  • Properly store flammable and hazardous materials.
  • Maintain clean and professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate service needs.
  • Assist individuals with disabilities and ensure all guests feel appreciated.
  • Use clear, professional language when interacting with guests and coworkers.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve cleanliness goals.
  • Adhere to quality standards and operational policies.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 pounds unaided and over 25 pounds with assistance.
  • Push/pull loaded carts and maneuver equipment over uneven surfaces.
  • Reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and twist throughout shift as needed.
  • Stand or walk for extended periods during the entire work shift.
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring hand-eye coordination and motor skills.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
