Job Summary
The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the hotel's sales and revenue goals by generating business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and promoting hotel services and packages. The role involves corporate sales, travel trade coordination, event/business development, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for hotel room sales, events, conferences, and group bookings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, OTAs, and event planners.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, presentations, and hotel site inspections.
- Assist in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, quotations, and sales reports.
- Coordinate with operations and reservations teams for smooth execution of bookings.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Participate in trade fairs, networking events, and promotional activities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Support digital and promotional campaigns in coordination with the marketing team.

Qualifications

- Experience in corporate sales, travel trade, or resort sales preferred
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in luxury hotels/resorts
- Existing corporate or travel agent network
- Knowledge of OTA and online booking platforms
