Hotel Interior Designer

Job description:

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project briefs and client requirements for hotel and hospitality spaces
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts
• Prepare detailed drawings: layouts, elevations, and working drawings
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and dcor suitable for hotel environments
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and execution teams on-site
• Ensure designs meet brand standards, guest comfort, and operational functionality
• Visit sites regularly to monitor design implementation and quality
• Work closely with 3D artists and visualizers for realistic presentations
• Manage timelines and ensure timely delivery of design milestones
• Handle multiple hotel/hospitality projects simultaneously

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of hospitality design standards
• Excellent space planning and material selection skills
• Practical understanding of site execution and detailing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office (knowledge of 3D tools is a plus)
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Strong aesthetic sense with attention to detail

Experience Required

• 36 years of experience in hotel/hospitality interior design projects
• Experience in handling hotel rooms, lobbies, restaurants, and common areas

Qualification

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
