Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Shadnagar for a Hospitality Trainer with Pratham Education Foundation. The Hospitality Trainer will design and deliver practical training modules in hospitality, including front office operations, customer service, and food and beverage service, for youth enrolled in skilling programs. The role includes conducting classroom and hands-on sessions, developing training materials, and assessing learners progress through assignments, role-plays, and evaluations. The trainer will mentor and guide participants on workplace readiness, grooming, communication, and professional behavior, while maintaining discipline and a supportive learning environment. The position also involves coordinating with placement teams and industry partners, staying updated on hospitality standards, and supporting reporting and documentation related to training outcomes.
Qualifications

  • Strong hospitality domain expertise, including experience in Hospitality Consulting and Training, with the ability to translate industry standards into practical, learner-friendly content.
  • Hands-on experience in customer-facing roles such as Customer Service and Front Office, with a focus on service excellence and guest relations.
  • Practical knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including basic service standards, hygiene, and coordination between front- and back-of-house teams.
  • Effective communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage youth from diverse backgrounds and adapt teaching methods to varied learning levels.
  • Prior experience in vocational training, skill development, or hospitality education is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools for training, reporting, and coordination, along with strong organizational and time-management skills.
