Hospitality Designer

Malik Architecture is on a look out for a Designer to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced designer to lead Hospitality and Commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated and have strong time management, communication, coordination skills and ability to multi-task along with exceptional architecture and interior design abilities.

• Experience leading project teams from concept to completion
• Strong skills in concept development, space planning and FF&E
• Proven experience and strong creative ability
• Understand and audit interpretation of briefings
• Experience coordinating with clients, contractors, makers, artisans and suppliers
• Ability to build strong work relationships, internally and externally
• Ability to read, understand and correct technical drawings from engineers, architects and makers along with strong drawing skills

• Architecture or Interior Design degree or equivalent
• Portfolio should include Residential, Hospitality and Commercial Projects
• Exceptional Graphical Communication skills through sketches and diagrams
• Strong technical drawing skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong ability to Professionally Communicate written and spoken English
• Proficiency in CAD, 3D SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
• Proficiency in Revit is an advantage
