Role Description The Hospital Quality Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for supporting hospitals in enhancing the quality and safety of patient care. This position involves assessing current clinical and operational processes, analyzing performance data, and identifying gaps against quality standards and regulatory requirements. The consultant will develop and implement quality improvement plans, support accreditation and compliance initiatives, and facilitate training sessions for clinical and administrative teams. Daily tasks include conducting audits and root cause analyses, preparing detailed reports and recommendations, and collaborating with hospital leadership to drive continuous improvement. The role also requires close coordination with multidisciplinary stakeholders to monitor outcomes, track key performance indicators, and promote a culture of quality and accountability.

Salary: 8-10 LPA + travel expences + achievement based incentives

Must have NABH POI 6th edition certification.

Candidates with knowledge on JCI will have more preferences.

Candidate must be flexible with traveling for onsite projects in hospitals across Pan India as assigned from company as per requirements to fulfill the services.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in healthcare quality assessment, clinical audit, and performance measurement, with the ability to interpret hospital data and quality metrics.
  • Experience in designing and implementing quality improvement initiatives, including process mapping, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Knowledge of hospital accreditation standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and patient safety frameworks relevant to healthcare facilities.
  • Proficiency in report writing, documentation, and presentation of findings to clinical and administrative stakeholders in a clear, structured manner.
  • Effective communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and lead training or workshops.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field; additional certification in quality or accreditation (e.g., NABH, JCI) is an advantage.
  • Prior experience working in hospitals or healthcare consulting, particularly in quality management or operations, is highly beneficial.
