We're looking for experienced Hospital Health Data Governance Leads to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models being built for the healthcare space. You'll bring your deep knowledge of clinical data standards, compliance frameworks, and cross-functional governance to ensure AI outputs are accurate, trustworthy, and fit for real-world healthcare use.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just deep expertise in hospital health data and the governance frameworks that make it reliable.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate and provide structured feedback on AI-generated content related to healthcare data governance, clinical data standards, and compliance frameworks
- Apply your expertise to assess the accuracy, consistency, and regulatory soundness of AI outputs across clinical and operational health data scenarios
- Identify gaps, errors, or risks in how AI models represent data governance concepts — from HIPAA compliance to data quality controls
- Help define what good looks like for AI handling of health records, clinical workflows, and data policy documentation
- Contribute to governance-focused evaluation tasks spanning patient data integrity, interoperability standards, and healthcare analytics readiness
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced in healthcare data governance, clinical data management, or health information operations
- Strong working knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
- Familiar with how data flows across clinical, IT, compliance, and administrative functions in hospital environments
- Able to evaluate complex governance scenarios and communicate findings clearly in writing
- Naturally detail-oriented with a systematic approach to data quality and standards
- No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, or ICD coding systems
- Background in clinical informatics, health information management, or healthcare analytics
- Experience working with EHR systems or enterprise health data platforms
- Prior involvement in data stewardship, data cataloguing, or master data management in a hospital setting
