Horticulturist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct soil and water testing; analyze results
• Plan and manage organic crop cycles from seed to harvest
• Recommend and apply organic fertilizers and soil amendments
• Implement organic pest and disease management strategies
• Oversee daily on-field operations and labor
• Diagnose crop health issues and provide solutions
• Manage irrigation scheduling and water usage
• Maintain farm records and progress reports
• Train and guide farm staff on organic practices

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Agriculture or higher
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in organic farming
• Experience in organic farming preferred
• Strong knowledge of soil and crop management
• Good analytical, communication, and team coordination skills
• Willingness to work independently on-site
