We are hiring on behalf of our client, a global leader in outsourced digital workspace solutions, specializing in VDI and DaaS across cloud environments.
Job Overview
This role focuses on leading VDI projects, handling L4 escalations, and managing large-scale Omnissa Horizon environments. You will work closely with global stakeholders to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of virtual desktop infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 5–10 engineers delivering VDI and Horizon-based projects
- Handle L4 escalations and troubleshoot complex issues across Horizon environments
- Manage Omnissa Horizon components including UAG, App Volumes, DEM, and Instant Clones
- Resolve performance, scaling, and infrastructure issues across Azure/AWS environments
- Monitor KPIs, project dashboards, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders for project updates and risk management
- Drive automation, documentation, and process improvements
- Ensure high availability and performance of production VDI environments
Must-Have & Preferred Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in VDI / enterprise IT environments
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with Omnissa Horizon / VMware Horizon (L4 level)
- Strong expertise in Horizon components: Connection Server, UAG, App Volumes, DEM
- Experience in handling escalations, team leadership, and project delivery
- Knowledge of cloud platforms: Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS WorkSpaces
- Strong understanding of Active Directory/LDAP, networking, and security (NSX, Zero Trust)
- Experience with Linux/Windows Server administration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Relevant certifications (Omnissa / VMware Horizon, VCP-DCV) preferred
- Ability to work in PST shift and handle global escalations
