As a Financial Planning & Analysis Associate within Home Lending Servicing P&A, you will focus on managing stress testing, budgeting, and reporting activities while promoting insightful financial analysis and governance across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Documenting forecasting models migrating to the strategic forecasting platform as well as receiving sign-offs / approvals from review groups (Business / Firm-wide model documentation review groups).
Partnering with tech team to communicate remediate any issues
Ability to identify and leverage best practices from other Home Lending Groups.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to senior management on a frequent basis
Identify opportunities and recommend improvements for increased process and reporting efficiencies.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in all financial reporting and presentations.
Adhere to internal compliance policies and other business reporting requirements. Servicing P&A Reporting
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Chartered Accountant/CFA/MBA (Finance) (or similar educational background) with 6+ years of post-qualification experience
Strong financial analytical skills - Fusion of Finance and Data Capabilities
Excellent partnering skills. Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment
Ability to research issues/problems and provide a solution-based approach
Experience partnering in either a Finance and/or Business Management capacity and providing insights/recommendations to senior management
Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner that tells the story behind financials in a compelling way
Confident and personable attitude with the ability to face off with senior management at all levels, influence/handle difficult messages, problem solve, and resolve conflicts
Detail oriented individual capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately, on a timely basis, and in a presentable manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team situation
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi task and handle competing priorities under pressure. Self-motivated individual to go beyond immediate responsibilities
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Timing - 2:00pm to 11:00pm (may change for budget periods, adhocs and projects)
In-depth knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint and knowledge of Essbase preferred
Knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Python, Data bricks preferred
Comments:This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, contribute to strategic initiatives, and interact with senior leadership. Flexibility to work US shifts during critical reporting cycles is expected.
