Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Home Collection Phlebotomist based in Bangalore , India. The Home Collection Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients at home in compliance with healthcare and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing sampling equipment, ensuring proper labelling and transportation of collected samples, following procedures for infection control, and interacting courteously with patients to ensure their comfort during the process. Clear communication with laboratories and accurate maintenance of records are essential aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Blood Collection techniques with strong Laboratory Skills
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Medicine, and Medical Assisting
• Understanding and adherence to infection control procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide a positive experience for patients
• Relevant certification or diploma in phlebotomy, medical laboratory technology, or related field
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a similar healthcare role is preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive healthcare materials with care and professionalism
