Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Holiday Packages Specialist & Travel Consultant role based in Moonniyur, Malappuram Dst. The Holiday Packages Specialist & Travel Consultant will design and customize domestic and international holiday packages according to client preferences, budget, and travel objectives. The role includes advising clients on destinations, itineraries, accommodations, and transportation options, while ensuring compliance with visa, insurance, and other travel requirements. Daily tasks involve handling inquiries, preparing quotations, confirming reservations, issuing tickets and vouchers, and coordinating with airlines, hotels, and other service providers. The consultant will provide responsive customer service, manage changes or cancellations, and maintain accurate records of bookings and payments. The role also involves staying updated on travel trends, promotions, and policies to offer informed recommendations and support sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong travel advisory skills, including Travel Consulting and Travel Management, with the ability to understand client needs and recommend suitable itineraries.
- Hands-on experience with Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including booking flights, hotels, holiday packages, and ground transportation.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on clear communication, problem-solving, and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Familiarity with GDS or online booking platforms, and basic proficiency in MS Office or similar tools.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English; knowledge of additional regional languages is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Prior experience in a travel agency, tour operations, or holiday packages role is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
