Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership
- Plan, implement, and monitor the Hindi curriculum as per board/university guidelines
- Ensure effective teaching-learning practices and academic excellence
- Guide teachers in lesson planning, assessments, and classroom strategies
Faculty Management
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate Hindi teachers
- Conduct regular department meetings and academic reviews
- Support professional development and training initiatives
Curriculum & Assessment
- Oversee syllabus coverage, exam planning, and evaluation processes
- Ensure alignment with CBSE/ICSE/State Board/University standards
- Introduce innovative teaching methods and learning resources
Student Development
- Promote reading, writing, debate, drama, and literary activities in Hindi
- Encourage participation in competitions, Olympiads, and cultural programs
- Address academic concerns of students and support remedial measures
Administrative Duties
- Coordinate with Principal / Academic Head on departmental goals
- Maintain academic records, reports, and documentation
- Assist in admissions, inspections, and audits related to Hindi department
Co-curricular & Cultural Activities
- Organize Hindi Diwas, poetry recitations, debates, and literary clubs
- Promote Hindi language, literature, and cultural values
Eligibility & Qualifications- Master's Degree in Hindi (M.A. Hindi) mandatory
- B.Ed / M.Ed (for school roles)
- NET/PhD preferred (for college/university roles)
- Minimum- 10 years of teaching experience, with leadership exposure
