We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior General Manager – Commercial to lead the commercial function for CAPEX / Mega Projects. The role will be responsible for procurement strategy, vendor management, EPC/EPCM contract management, logistics planning, cost control, compliance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial strategy for CAPEX and project procurement
- Manage RFQ/RFP, bid evaluation, vendor finalization, and negotiations
- Handle EPC / EPCM contracts, amendments, claims, and change orders
- Oversee procurement execution, SAP/ERP entries, and process controls
- Coordinate with project, engineering, finance, legal, and site teams
- Monitor logistics, material management, and commercial risk mitigation
- Drive cost control, compliance, and timely delivery of project materials
- Lead and develop the commercial team
Preferred Background:
- Strong exposure to mega projects and project procurement
- Experience in chemical, fertilizer, oil & gas, or similar industries
- Engineering background with supply chain / commercial expertise
- Leadership experience in handling commercial operations and teams
