We are looking for a seasoned Head of Department – SaaS & Cloud Development to lead a dynamic team specializing in SaaS, Cloud, and Infrastructure Development. This role requires strong people leadership and technical expertise, as you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, shaping the department's vision, and playing a key role in executing our global strategy while driving growth, innovation, and overall performance

People & Leadership Responsibilities

• Ensures that the right employees with the right skills are organized within the department and are available in the right numbers.
• Leads the specialized team both professionally and disciplinarily
• Ensures that employees receive continuous development
• Responsible for setting objectives and evaluating employees
• Promotes a positive, self-organized, quality-oriented, and productive work environment

Strategic & Operational Responsibilities

• Define and execute the SaaS & Cloud development strategy in alignment with global business objectives.
• Drive roadmap planning, prioritization, and delivery of high-quality cloud and SaaS products.
• Ensure smooth operations across cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure areas, with strong governance and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and global leadership in a matrix environment.
• Monitor key performance metrics, resource utilization, and delivery quality across all teams.
• Take ownership of budgeting, capacity planning, and vendor management within the department.

Technical Expertise

• Hands-on experience as a Tech Lead / Architect in SaaS, Cloud Development, or Infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems, cloud security, and automation.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines

Your profile:

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Tech Lead or Architect in SaaS, Cloud Infrastructure, and Development, along with at least 5 years of proven leadership experience in managing teams within these domains

• Demonstrable experience in people management, with the ability to lead and inspire a distributed team.

• Excellent strategic thinking skills, with the capacity to align local actions with global objectives.

• Proven ability to foster business and operational excellence in a growing entity.

• Strong networking and collaboration skills within a matrix organization.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
