HMI Designer

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Motorcycle Display Console UI/UX Designer with 3 to 5 years of experience in designing user interfaces for automotive or similar products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and enhancing the user experience and user interface of our motorcycle display consoles to provide riders with an intuitive and visually appealing digital experience.

Reports to: Group Manager-Color Trim & Graphics

Function: Industrial Design

What you'll do:

User Experience (UX) Design:

• Understand user needs and behaviors through research and user testing.
• Develop user personas and user journeys.
• Identify design problems and Make strategic design and User-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flow diagrams to visualize interface concepts through Storytelling

User Interface (UI) Design:

• Design and optimize the visual elements of the motorcycle display console/ Cluster desig
• Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Select appropriate color schemes, typography, and iconography to ensure a visually pleasing interface.

Collaboration: Internal and external

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, designers and suppliers to ensure designs align with product goals and technical feasibility.
• Gather feedback and iterate on designs to achieve the best possible user experience.

Usability Testing:

• Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement.
• Incorporate user feedback into design iterations.

Industry Trends:Digital and Physical

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies related to motorcycle display consoles and CMF
• Support advanced CMF Trend research, forecast future trends and publish the reports to designers for inspiration and material exploration.

What you'll bring:

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in UI/UX design for motorcycle or automotive products
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and process
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
