Role: L2+ Hitachi Storage Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Hitachi Storage Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Hitachi VSP enterprise storage environments.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant enterprise storage administration experience with strong hands-on Hitachi VSP expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Hitachi Ops Center, RAIDCOM and Hitachi Command Suite.
• Strong experience with Hitachi replication technologies: TrueCopy and/or Universal Replicator (UR).
• Experience with ThinImage and/or ShadowImage.
• Strong knowledge of SAN administration, including Brocade or Cisco Director-class switches.
• Hands-on experience in performance analysis, troubleshooting, capacity planning and storage provisioning.
• Experience in DR planning, replication monitoring and DR testing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently handle L2/L2+ incidents and escalations.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Automation/scripting using Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• SAN/NAS architecture and design knowledge.
• Linux/Windows file systems, NFS/CIFS.
• ITIL-based incident/change/problem management.
• Hitachi Vantara certification.
