Job Description

• Installation Configuration and Integration of NetApp Filers with the Windows and UNIX environment experience with CIFS NFS and LUN management
• Managing Quotas and Permissions managing disks Managing iSCSI FCP Network Mapping igroups and configuring LUN for unix and windows hosts For NFS shares verifying the exports file thru CLI
• Manage the NFS exports file using Filer GUI Maintain User map file to perform Multi protocol mappings and access
• Created Aggregates Volumes Qtrees and Quotas on Filers using DataOntap
• Implemented in data migrations between the filers using Volume Qtree SnapMirror
• Creating CIFS shares and managing the permissions of the CIFS Shares and Managing NFS Exports VMware environment health check Mounting unmounting NFS and Adding FC LUNS on ESXi servers Documented SOP s for Storage support teams to assist them during day to day operations
• Coordinating with Delivery Leads and Customers Adding the new drives and upgrading the RAM size as per the client requirement
• Implemented SnapMirror as a DR solution and Snapvault as backup solution Replicate Secure data at remote sites with regulations to reduce risks using SnapLock
• Maintained a healthy NetApp storage by Configuring snapshots using Data OnTap FilerView and Scheduled daily weekly monthly backups using Snapshots Handling System Administrator activities of Backup Servers
• Performing DR Activity for frequently DB Refresh Activity is performed for application level purpose
• Troubleshooting FTP NFS NIS related issues Used Data Fabric Manager DFM Filer View and OnTap command line in monitoring managing reporting and provisioning storage to the users
• Expertise in Storage provisioning using SVM creation CIFS NFS and LUN creation in Cluster Mode Plan and Implement Ontap Upgrade

Primary Skills

• Experience in managing and configuring various file systems through network using NAS SAN methodologies and installed RAID devices and identifying and analyzing technical issues and trouble shooting them
• Expertise with Snapshots SnapMirror Snapvault and NetApp management tools like OCUM Performance Manager Problem solving task prioritization communication and organization skills
• Able to work in a deadline environment Can work efficiently in a team and on individual tasks
• Experience in working on Major Incidents and Problem Management Establish Maintain and Mange delivery support team from the daily operations
• Ensure the attainment and maintenance of excellent levels of client satisfaction with regards to operational and storage support
• 24x7 on Call Support for Troubleshooting
