About the Role
We are looking for a History Professor (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on historical research, academic reasoning, educational content, and knowledge analysis workflows.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to world history, political history, cultural studies, historical interpretation, research summaries, and educational materials, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world historical and academic challenges.
Your expertise will contribute to improving AI systems used for educational intelligence, historical analysis, academic research, and AI-powered learning systems.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated historical and academic content
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for historical accuracy, contextual understanding, logical reasoning, and educational relevance
- Identify factual inaccuracies, weak interpretations, timeline inconsistencies, or incomplete analysis in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Support workflows involving historical research, educational content development, cultural analysis, and academic evaluation
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on history, humanities research, and intelligent educational workflows
Requirements
- Background in History, Humanities, Political History, Cultural Studies, Archaeology, or related fields
- Teaching, lecturing, or academic research experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of historical events, research methodologies, and academic writing standards
- Familiarity with curriculum development, educational assessment, or scholarly research workflows is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, reasoning, and communication skills
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated historical and educational outputs for accuracy and depth
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
