Who should apply
We are not looking for general translators, freelancers, or content writers. We are looking for the top 1% of experts deeply grounded in Indian sports history, local games, physical culture, and recreational traditions.
You should meet most or all of the following:
- Native fluency in Urdu (reading and writing)
- Strong command of English (for prompt interpretation and evaluation)
- Deep academic, professional, or field expertise in Indian sports, games, and recreation, such as:
- Indian sports history and evolution of physical culture
- Traditional and indigenous games (kabaddi, kho-kho, mallakhamb, etc.)
- Regional sports traditions and community-based physical practices
- Modern Indian sports ecosystem (cricket, athletics, Olympic sports, leagues, etc.)
- Sports sociology, gender, caste, and politics in the Indian context
- Athlete biographies, narratives, and sports journalism
- Coaching, training methodologies, and grassroots sports development
- Recreational cultures, fitness movements, and everyday play practices in India
- PhD, MPhil, or Master's degree preferred, or extensive credible experience in the field will also be considered.
- Passion for precision, language, and cultural nuance
- Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.
Your Role
- Craft context-rich prompts in Urdu based on traditional and modern sports, local games, athlete narratives, and regional recreation to challenge AI models
- Evaluate model outputs for accuracy, cultural relevance, tone, and regional specificity
- Identify blind spots and weaknesses in AI's understanding of India's diverse sporting heritagefrom kabaddi and mallakhamb to cricket fandom and regional tournaments
- Collaborate with an international team shaping how AI understands Indian languages and the socio-cultural fabric of recreation, games, and physical expression
