Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and ownership-driven Hiring Specialist to strengthen our talent acquisition engine. The ideal candidate should have 35 years of experience in structured hiring environments, preferably in consulting, technology services, IP research, or knowledge-driven organizations. This role is not limited to sourcing profiles - it is responsible for ensuring disciplined, timely, and high quality hiring across technical, advisory, and leadership roles. You will play a key role in reducing hiring turnaround time, improving candidate quality, building strong pipelines, and ensuring hiring accountability across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, coordination, evaluation, offer management, and onboarding handover

Build strong pipelines for recurring and niche roles (IP Researchers, Analysts, Sales, SaaS Developers, Business Consulting roles)

Partner closely with department heads to clearly define role expectations before initiating hiring

Ensure structured evaluation frameworks are followed

Reduce time-to-hire and eliminate unnecessary delays

Conduct first-level screening interviews with structured assessment notes

Coordinate interview panels and ensure timely feedback closure

Support leadership hiring mandates with confidentiality and rigor

Improve employer branding touchpoints (JD clarity, candidate communication, interview experience)

Create talent databases for future requirements

Bring process discipline to hiring - no backlog, no ambiguity

Required Qualifications:

Experience Required:

35 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition

Experience hiring for consulting, research, SaaS, analytics, or technology roles preferred

Experience handling mid-to-senior level hiring is a plus

Educational Qualification:

Graduate in any discipline

MBA/PGDM in HR preferred but not mandatory

Skill Set Required:

Strong sourcing capability (LinkedIn, Naukri, networking, direct mapping)

Ability to assess structured thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong stakeholder management

High ownership and follow-through

Data-driven hiring approach

Familiarity with ATS systems preferred

Strong documentation and tracking discipline

Communication Skills Requirement:

Clear, structured, and professional written communication

Ability to ask sharp screening questions

Confident interaction with senior candidates

Ability to push back diplomatically when hiring briefs are unclear

Abilities Required:

Strong sense of urgency without compromising quality

Ability to handle multiple mandates simultaneously

High accountability - no passive follow-ups

Independent decision-making in screening and shortlisting

Comfort working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented culture

Ability to maintain confidentiality in leadership hiring
