Position: IT Technician

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Industry: Jewellery Retail Showroom

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled IT Technician to manage and support the IT infrastructure of our jewellery retail showroom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer systems, CCTV surveillance equipment, networking devices, and ensuring smooth day-to-day technical operations across the showroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues in computers and laptops.

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and surveillance networks.

• Ensure smooth functioning of billing systems, POS machines, barcode scanners, and related peripherals.

• Configure and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi connectivity, routers, switches, and internet services.

• Provide technical support to showroom staff for IT-related issues.

• Perform regular system updates, data backups, and security checks.

• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, software support, and AMC services.

• Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation of hardware and software.

• Ensure cybersecurity best practices, including antivirus management and access control.

• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential technical issues.

• Support installation and maintenance of biometric attendance systems and other office automation equipment.

• Ensure minimal downtime of all IT systems to support uninterrupted showroom operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in IT support, hardware troubleshooting, and network administration.

• Hands-on experience with CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and hardware diagnostics.

• Familiarity with POS systems, printers, and retail IT infrastructure is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple technical issues efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in retail, jewellery, or showroom environments will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of data backup solutions, antivirus management, and basic server administration.

Job Type: Full-Time
