Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Building: Define hiring roadmaps, attract top-tier talent, manage and coach Engineering Managers and Directors, and foster a culture of ownership, high performance, and psychological safety.
- Operational Excellence: Optimize the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure fast and high-quality feature delivery; oversee agile practices including sprint planning and retrospectives; and manage the engineering budget, covering headcount, software licenses, and cloud infrastructure costs.
- Technical Strategy & Architecture: Ensure system scalability (e.g., transitioning from a monolith to microservices), maintain reliable uptime with strict SLAs/SLOs, and embed robust security and compliance measures (GDPR/HIPAA) into development workflows.
