Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop detailed test plans and strategies for auto insurance software products, considering regulatory compliance requirements and industry standards.

Define testing objectives, scope, and timelines, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations.

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium DevOps and C Sharp to validate the functionality and performance of auto insurance applications.

Conduct manual testing as needed, particularly for scenarios requiring human judgment or exploratory testing.

Perform end-to-end testing of insurance workflows, including policy management, claims processing, and customer interactions.

Create and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium DevOps and C Sharp to support efficient and scalable testing.

Integrate UiPath tools for robotic process automation (RPA) where applicable to automate repetitive manual tasks within the testing process.

Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate test execution and promote faster feedback loops.

Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using issue tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.

Collaborate with development teams to investigate root causes of defects and propose solutions or workarounds.

Generate comprehensive test reports and metrics using UiPath tools to communicate testing progress, quality trends, and risk assessments to stakeholders.

Stay current with auto insurance industry trends, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations to inform testing strategies and priorities.

Advocate for the adoption of best practices in software quality assurance, including code reviews, static analysis, and test-driven development (TDD).

Mentor junior team members on testing techniques, automation tools, and industry-specific knowledge related to auto insurance.

Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to coordinate testing activities, address dependencies, and resolve issues.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to align testing efforts with project milestones.
