QA Mobile Testing – 7-9 Year of Experience

Key Responsibilities

1. Mobile App Testing :

• Perform manual testing of e-commerce features such as product search, cart management, checkout flows, payment gateways, order tracking, and user accounts.
• Test app functionality, usability, and compatibility across multiple devices, operating systems (iOS and Android), and screen sizes.
• Validate app behavior under various network conditions (e.g., 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi).
• Create detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements and user stories.
• Execute test cases and document results, including steps to reproduce bugs and expected vs. actual outcomes.
• Identify, log, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Provide clear and concise bug reports with screenshots, logs, and other relevant information.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and retest fixes.
• Conduct testing on both iOS and Android platforms to ensure consistent behavior and performance.
• Test apps on real devices, emulators, and simulators to identify platform-specific issues.
• Understand e-commerce workflows, including user registration, product discovery, payments, refunds, and customer support.
• Test integrations with third-party services such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and analytics tools.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
• Experience with cloud-based device farms (e.g., BrowserStack , Sauce Labs ) for cross-device testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Basic understanding of mobile performance and security testing concepts.

1. Regression Testing :

• Perform regression testing to ensure new features or updates do not introduce defects into existing functionality.
• Maintain a repository of test cases and update them as needed.
