- Looking for a Java developer with strong hands-on experience in Core Java (17/21+), Spring Boot, and Spring Batch for building enterprise-scale financial applications. The role involves developing high-volume transaction statement processing and multi-ledger reconciliation systems with sub-second SLA requirements.
- Key technical expectations include advanced Java and SQL expertise in DB2/MS SQL (window functions, CTEs, bulk ops, query tuning on billion-row tables), and Hibernate/JPA for data layer design. Experience with microservices architecture and async pipelines via Kafka is a strong plus.
- A standout requirement is hands-on experience with rule-based systems using Drools or similar engines, authoring rules, managing rule lifecycle, building decision tables, and integrating rule engines with Spring Boot for hot-reloadable business logic in reconciliation and compliance workflows.
- Candidates should be familiar with enterprise patterns (CQRS, Event Sourcing, Saga), REST API design, and DevOps basics (Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker).
- Linux/Unix working knowledge required.
- Exposure to financial messaging standards (SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, FIX) and reconciliation platforms like Intelli Match is advantageous.
