Job Description
We are looking for a skilled PostgreSQL Developer / DBA with experience in managing databases in both Cloud and On-Premise environments.
The candidate will be responsible for database development, administration, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability and reliability of PostgreSQL databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop database schemas, tables, indexes, and views
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/pgSQL functions
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization
- Manage backup, recovery, and database maintenance
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues
- Manage PostgreSQL databases in Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and On-Premise
environments
- Implement replication, high availability, and security best practices
Required Skills
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL DBA and Development
- Expertise in SQL and PL/pgSQL
- Experience with database performance tuning
- Knowledge of backup, recovery, and replication
- Experience working with Cloud and On-Prem PostgreSQL environments
- Familiarity with Linux systems
Cloud Skills (Preferred)
- Experience with:
- AWS RDS / Aurora PostgreSQL
- Azure Database for PostgreSQL
- Google Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring and scaling
Skills:- PostgreSQL, DBA, PL/SQL, PG/SQL, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Windows Azure, AWS and Database performance tuning
