We are seeking freshers/entry-level candidates for the position of Medical Coding. This role involves accurately coding medical diagnoses and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures.
- Assign codes to patient diagnoses and procedures based on the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT).
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any discrepancies in medical documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations during coding processes.
- Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B Pharm) or relevant field.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacology.
- Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
