Job Description

Role & responsibilities

ales & Business Development

  • Drive sales for Business Loans through DSA partners within the Chennai region.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets on loan disbursals and portfolio quality.
  • Identify new opportunities for market penetration and customer acquisition.

Channel Management

  • Onboard, manage, and develop relationships with existing and new DSAs.
  • Conduct regular DSA training and product knowledge sessions.
  • Monitor DSA performance metrics and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Team & Territory Management

  • Manage a team of relationship officers or sales executives across the Chennai cluster.
  • Strategize and implement region-specific sales plans to meet business goals.
  • Ensure optimal coverage and business development in key areas within the Chennai cluster.

Market Knowledge & Competition Mapping

  • Leverage deep local market understanding to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze competitor offerings and market movement in the business loan segment.
  • Share actionable insights with senior management to influence strategy.

Compliance & Operational Oversight

  • Ensure complete compliance with internal policies, RBI guidelines, and KYC norms.
  • Coordinate with credit, operations, and risk teams to ensure smooth processing.
  • Minimize file rejections and delays by ensuring documentation accuracy.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience: 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in business loan sales, with a strong focus on the DSA channel.
  • Geographical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Chennai business ecosystem, especially SME segments.
  • Education: Graduate in any stream (MBA/PGDM preferred).
  • Skills Required:
  • Proven track record in DSA channel management and business loan sales.
  • Strong people and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
